Lobster bait bag
Using an ROV (robotic unmanned sub), we took video of animals off of Bailey Island, Maine. In this video, we come upon a lobster eating from a bait bag. The video was taken using Captain James Jone’s ROV (www.nauticvideo.com ). The video is being used by the Log Cabin Inn (www.logcabin-maine.com ) to show guests what lives underwater in front of the inn.
How to help stray kitties?
I live in Chicago. I have been helping these stray kitties by my house by feeding them scraps. My own cats only lick the gravy or sauce off the canned food, so I give the rest to these homeless cats. But winter is coming, and they are harsh in the Windy City.
I want to make a little shelter for them to protect them. I am thinking about using a big storage tote. I’d cut a front entrance and a backdoor exit (so they have a way out if the local coyote discovers them). What can I use to insulate the inside?
Any ideas or advice would be great. Thanks. Only serious responses please!
What bag do you use to tote baby stuff to/from daycare?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good bag to tote my son’s stuff to/from daycare? I’m currently using a reusable shopping bag, but it’s falling apart.
Generally, I need to be able to fit 4 sippy cups, plus a couple small bowls of food, and a yogurt, plus from time to time a blanket/sheet, package of diapers, and spare outfits.
I’m looking for something possibly insulated, and measuring about 14 by 10 by 5 or so. I want it to be pretty simple, I don’t needs lots of different compartments, etc. Anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks, I’ll check out Lands End
My center does have a cubby wherein I leave a package of diapers, etc. for my son. But his food, I bring every day. I think it’s because he’s in the 1 year room (just turned 1 year old). He’s still transitioning to solid foods (pasta, pancakes, stuff like that) and whole milk, and he is really resisting it, so I’m experimenting with new foods each day. He also is learning to use a spoon to feed himself, and he makes a big mess, so I always bring him extra outfits everyday. I think once he’s in an older room, the center provides the food/milk/etc.
What should I sell at a Craft Fair in December? Since it is December, should I stay the Christmas route?
I am thinking of making felt ornament, reusable tote-bags (you know the ones you take to the grocery store) and coffee sleeves that are quilted and insulated. Is this a good idea or a bit random?! HELP!
